A great pick for tapas, paella, and drinks - whether with colleagues, family, or friends. Lots of great dishes to choose from, but some of my favorites were the pulpo (octopus), croquetas de pollo, cheese plate, and the paella mar y montaña. Honestly the paella was the best one, well worth the wait. To top it off, the arroz con leche cake was delicious.
Service was excellent as I would expect for this type of establishment. The restaurant is colorfully and creatively decorated and makes for a unique dining experience. Will definitely be returning! -

Made ressies for 7pm on a Monday night. Considering it's Thanksgiving week, I was pretty surprised that they were pretty packed.
Alsoooo, not gonna lie, but the last time I was here was about 7yrs ago when they first opened. And a waitress spilled a drink on my pants. And I haven't returned since. Sooo this was the first time I've been here to eat and grab a drink. To be fair, they offered to dry clean my pants. But I didn't.
Anyways, some of the tapas were better than others (Shrimp dish was a definite meh. Churros were undercooked inside). The space is extremely tight btw all tables, and a little def difficult to maneuver without knocking into someone. The staff was a bit all over the place, and hard to get their attention most of the time. BUT the one good thing that hasn't faded are those gin and tonics. The same gin and tonic I had 7yrs ago. Still just as good.
If I return, it'll be just for the drinks. 3 stars. -

I've been to Coqueta for business and with friends and it's a place I would highly recommend to others for a great time, great view and great Spanish food! I have been to a few of Michael Chiarello's restaurants and they never disappoint.
On this recent trip, there were 5 of us so we were able to order a selection of dishes: El Gran Plat Cap (cured meats and cheeses), patatas bravas, gambas negras, albondigas, olives and almonds and croquetas. The food was excellent, especially the shrimp and meatballs.
We each ordered cocktails and I especially enjoyed their salt air margarita.
I thought the prices were reasonable for a waterfront restaurant, especially given the quality of the food and service. The staff was warm and friendly, especially the very nice waiter that demonstrated to us how to properly drink Spanish wine.
The ambiance is fun and inviting, as everyone seemed to be having a great time. Most tables on this weekday night looked to be business dinners but everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. My other visits were on the weekend and I would say the same holds true on those nights as well. The restaurant is noisy but it not excessively loud and we were all able to hear one another fairly easily.
Reservations are needed as the restaurant is fairly small. Be prepared to sit closely with one another. -

Loved this restaurant!
Ambiance- 10/10. Coqueta is warm and welcoming, and energetic but without being noisy or overwhelming. This is the perfect spot for date night or a celebratory dinner.
Food- it's so disappointing when quality of food doesn't live up to the ambiance of a restaurant, but happy to say that's not the case here. Everything is tapas style and really really good. Favorites to split were the cheese board, deviled eggs, and branzino, among others.
Drinks- lots of options, something for everyone. The classic gin and tonic comes garnished with a flower and is really aesthetic.
Price- justified given the quality of food and ambiance. -

Came for a work celebration lunch and it was amazing. Our waiter was super friendly and accommodating - they will do a lot of customizations depending on your group's dietary restrictions, size, etc.
For a group of six, we did the gamba negras (shrimp), patatas bravas, croquetas chicken, brussel sprouts, paella, octopus, cheese and chorizo stick. Every tapas was cleaned up by us but my favorite was the gambra negras and croquetas chicken! They were so warm and flavorful with a rich savory taste.
For dessert, we shared the chorizos, flan and this cake with ice cream. It was the perfect way to end an already very delicious meal!
